Weekend of appearances- Jan. 23, 2010

I had a great weekend and was privileged to attend a fundraiser for the Warner Robins Masonic Lodge #207. This civic organization hosts a number of community events that help the elderly, children and families in need. The Brothers of Warner Robins Masonic Lodge #207 also sponsored me when I competed for the title of Miss Black GA USA last April. It was a pleasure fund-raising with them and I look forward to working with them in the future.
I also attended the Warner Robins High school scholarship pageant. I was amazed at the level of talent the 21 young ladies possessed. The production was seamless and the host, Miss Warner Robins 2010, Tara Scroggins was delightful and full of energy.
I must admit that I selfishly enjoyed being on the spectator's side of the house at the pageant, but I do miss the rush of a good pageant competition.
Who knows what's next after this title? I am thankful to have won Ms Black GA USA and think I am officially out of pageant retirement.
Take care and thanks to all that made my busy weekend a memorable one.
